Sharon Salzburg, a New York Times Best selling author and teacher of Buddhist meditation practices in the West, will be visiting Buffalo on her latest book tour. In 1974, Sharon co-founded the Insight Meditation Society at Barre, Massachusetts with Jack Kornfield and Joseph Goldstein.
Sharon will be speaking at the University at Buffalo on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 4 - 6 pm in the Student Union Theater (free and open to the public). Sharon is also the keynote speaker at the Mindfulness Alliance, "Uplift Buffalo," an all day event to celebrate our region’s inner and outer revitalization and help expand our perceptions about social change.
